Creation of Employment Generation Opportunities Scheme (CEGO)
The CEGO Scheme is sponsored by Govt. of Haryana. The Main Object of the Scheme is to impart Skill development training to the rural youth.The preferred target groups are the poor and deprived sections of the society in both urban and rural areas specifically women, SC/ST/OBC/minorities, School dropouts, Street Children, physically handicapped and economically weaker section of the society.The duration of the program/training is depending upon the course module. No fee is charged from the trainees under this Scheme. The Scholarship @ Rs. 25/- per day (subjected to Rs. 500/-max.) is given to SC students/trainee whose annual income is less than 2.5 Lakhs under this Scheme.
